Our proposal is to further incorporate long-term, sustainable, and environmentally friendly agricultural practices into Shamrock Farms in Arizona. This proposal is divided into three distinct steps: The first step is to review Shamrock’s current sustainability culture and then further enhance it based upon the Corporate Social Responsibility model. The second step is for Shamrock to set both short and long-term sustainability goals related to regenerative farming. The last step is for Shamrock to partner with Pinnacle Prevention, a nonprofit that focuses on sustainable food systems, in order to assist in the implementation of regenerative agriculture into their current supply chains.
This proposition requires the cross-sector collaboration of Shamrock Farms with the Arizona State Department of Agriculture and other departments with aligned interests or stakes in the matter. The proposition also involves partnering with Pinnacle Prevention, a non-profit that not only focuses on sustainable agriculture/food systems but also the effect food has on communities. The scope of the proposition remains local to the Phoenix Metro area of Arizona.
A Collaboration of Shamrock Farms, AZ Department of Agriculture, and Pinnacle Prevention to establish an Arizona based sustainable farm. The farm is utilized for sustainable food sourcing and dairy farming by using regenerative farming to reduce emissions, toxin usage, and soil degradation.
