Shamrock Farms is a dairy company in Phoenix, Arizona, United States owned by the McClelland family. Founded in 1922, Shamrock Farms is the largest family-owned and operated dairy in the Southwest. It produces and distributes a full line of dairy products.
Founded in 2014, Pinnacle Prevention is an Arizona-based 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to cultivating a just food system and opportunities for joyful movement. They work in neighborhoods, schools, farms, farmers markets, stores, health care settings, with city council, or at the state legislature for a comprehensive approach to supporting community wellbeing for all.
The Arizona Department of Agriculture supports and promotes Arizona agriculture in a way that encourages farming, ranching and agribusiness, protects the well-being of people, plants, animals and the environment while safeguarding commerce, consumers and natural resources.
Collaborative Benefits
There are many benefits to having these organizations partner together in order for this project to become a reality.
Here we have highlighted a few of the most significant benefits for each organization.
Shamrock Farms - By investing in this sustainability initiative with Pinnacle Peak and The AZ Department of Agriculture Shamrock will likely see a high return on investment. This is because green business is the latest trend that has been reducing the company's cost, increasing profits, strengthening its brand image, and engaging with more loyal customers. Similarly, Shamrock will be the first in its industry to work on a project of such scale making them a leader in the sustainability movement for agribusiness.
Pinnacle Peak Prevention - By partnering with Shamrock Farms and The Arizona Department of Agriculture Pinnacle Prevention will be able to work on its social mission on a grand scale. By working on a project of this scope the nonprofit will be more notable and well recognized by the community, with this publicity additional donations, funding, and grants are highly probable. In addition, they will be able to utilize the resources of these other two partnered organizations of which they would not have had access to without the collaboration.
AZ Department of Agriculture - By partnering with Shamrock Farms and Pinnacle Peak Prevention the Department of Agriculture will be able to better support its constituents and serve their food system/ sustainability missions. With these partnerships they also gain access to different resources, one such resource is people. They would then be partnered with 'talent' specialized in this field and industry of which the department may be currently lacking is a public sector organization.
