Tree Planting @ Cattail Cove
SPARC had the privilege to travel to Lake Havasu City, AZ, and complete a service mission at Cattail Cove State Park, spending some time with Rangers who shared their wisdom, and most importantly plant some trees at the soon-to-be upper camping site.

SPARC got together on November 4th for some great games and some great food! 🍕🃏

2024 Community Case Study Challenge
Parks & Recreation professionals, high school students, and college students spent a day working together to find innovative solutions to address real-world challenges in Arizona communities! Topics revolved around issues related to individuals experiencing homelessness🏠; public art as a tool for crime reduction🎨; and youth sports and youth development🏀
ASU vs University of Oregon Volleyball Game
Bump, set, spike!🏐 SPARC had fun watching great volleyball rallies. Can't forget about the pancakes!🥞
Battle of the Paddle
Battle of the paddle was a hit! SPARC had a great time playing tennis and pickleball with friends!🎾
SPARC & NLASA Hike
SPARC enjoyed the spectacular views of Arizona's beautiful landscape on a hike with NLASA!🌵☀️
Grand Canyon Camping Trip
SPARC connected with nature and practiced outdoor cooking and “leave no trace” techniques at one of the world’s most iconic landmarks.🏕️
SPARC learned about the Arizona Game and Fish Department, what it’s like to be a wildlife biologist, and the importance of conserving and protecting Arizona’s native frogs!🐸

SPARC's first 2022 addition to the SPARC Speaker Series! March's event featured representatives from municipalities, non-profit, and for profit organizations.🤝
Chris visited with club members and had a wonderful conversation answering questions about what he does in his career and how he earned his position. Chris earned his undergraduate degree at ASU and attended Washington State University for Grad School to study Campus Recreation.📚
In March 2021 SPARC held their monthly speaker event where students were able to learn about inclusiveness in recreation🫶
