Greetings from the Study Abroad Office!
We will be hosting a Pizza and Global Opportunities event for SILC students during the SILC Café on Wednesday, January 23 from 1-3pm (LL165). During this event, students can receive information about SILC study abroad programs and eat a slice or two of pizza for good measure! We’ll also have information about funding, scholarship opportunities, and the application process.
We’d love for you to join us for some or all of the time if you are free. This is not a formal tabling event—faculty members will not have a table—but you are welcome to come with a stack of your flyers and engage with students casually during the event. If you have not yet received your flyers, let me know if you plan to attend, and I will make sure we have flyers waiting for you at the event.
We will have a second Pizza and Global Opportunities event for all CLAS students in the Armstrong Hall Rotunda on Wednesday, January 30 from 11:30am-1:30pm. You are most welcome to attend this event as well. We’ll be promoting all CLAS-sponsored programs—including SILC programs—so we’d love to see you there!
Two representatives from Pasona, the third largest job recruiter in Japan, will be visiting ASU to meet ENG-JPN speaking students interested in working in Japan. https://www.pasona.com/en/
