Research : Structural geology and geochemistry of thermal regions in Yellowstone National Park.
Fun fact: I like to fantasize about catching the pigeons on campus and holding them like fat little burgers. I step on and crush fallen acorns because they struggle so much to open them on their own, but I worry that they think I’m being mean and stepping on their food.

Fun fact : Tyler likes to regularly escape the valley and disappear into the wild. If he's not at his desk, his Kia is probably upside-down somewhere near a Forest Service road.

Research : Using transmission electron microscopy to study carbonaceous chondrites- some of the oldest materials in the Solar System.
Fun fact : Anna was once briefly detained by the NASA JPL security because she took too many photos of a lizard outside of the campus.
