We’re connecting expert tech and security advisors with community advocates to fight tech abuse. Do you have a few hours a month to share your expertise? This project will enable survivors of tech abuse to reclaim their digital lives with the support of advocates, bolstered by guidance from technologists and security professionals.
We are currently in our pilot phase -- Q&A interactions between advocates and technology/security volunteers on a private Stack Overflow Teams forum. If you are interested in being involved in the next phase, we’re seeking volunteers who can commit a small amount of time to provide expertise to advocates posing tech abuse questions. We especially need your help if you already have some familiarity with supporting survivors.
The volunteer work will be done remotely and asynchronously. More information about the project can be found below. You can also follow us on LinkedIn.
Please review the Code of Conduct and Communications Guidelines prior to applying for an invite to the platform.
