This week brought both a quick presentation for Ulrich Boser of The Learning Agency, continued meetings with Dr. Rangwala, and check-ins with the graduate student assisting our project team, Xavier. For the presentation, Anlan and I created a visual that presents our main topics of research and how they relate to one another (linked below). This gave us an opportunity to more concretely verbalize our goals for this research, and its position in the large body of work that precedes it. In addition, meeting with Dr. Rangwala this week brought many insights into the best methods for finding correlations between variables when data mining and how to quantify the success of models.
