Dr. Mojdeh Khorsand Hedman

About Mojdeh:

I am an assistant professor in the School of Electrical, Computer, and Energy Engineering. My research and teaching activities are mainly in the domain of electric power and energy systems.

I received my doctorate degree from the School of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering at Arizona State University in 2017. I received my M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees from Iran University of Science and Technology and from Mazandaran University respectively.

My research expertise includes power systems operations and planning, power systems restoration and cascading events, cybersecurity for electric power systems, renewable energy, transient stability studies, protection systems, power flow control technologies, stochastic optimization, and electric energy markets.

Moreover, I am actively pursing research in the intersection of energy system, social science, and behavioral analysis.
