Quantitative Mapping of Brain Tissue Oxygenation
Umu Jalloh is passionate about supporting, encouraging, and ensuring more girls pursue STEM educational experiences and professions. As part of her summer experience, she completed research virtually with an ASU Professor which involves, analyzing data collected for Quantitative Mapping of Brain Tissue Oxygenation around neural interfaces using MATLAB, Excel and Origin. She also worked with finding an alternative power source for oxygen concentrators, due to the frequent power outage in developing countries, it is difficult to put patients on oxygen therapy. There's the need to search for alternative power source to help solved that problem.
