Hi. I am Mahesh.

I am a Senior Machine Learning Performance Engineer at Qualcomm. I received my doctoral degree from Arizona State University in 2021. My research interest lies in Coarse-Grained Reconfigurable Arrays (CGRA) for accelerating compute-intensive sections of applications. I am also interested in accelerating neural networks and the exploration of compiler-level optimizations of machine learning and AI apps.

I joined the Make Programming Simple (MPS) Lab (previously known as Compiler Microarchitecture Lab), in 2014, after graduating with a Masters' Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio. Dr. Aviral Shrivastava is my mentor. My frequent collaborators include Dr. Kristofer Bouchard from Neural Systems and Data Science Laboratory (#NSDSLab) and Mr. Prabhat, head of the Data Analytics and Services group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. I was the web chair for the Languages, Compilers, and Tools for Embedded Systems (LCTES'19) conference.
