The following user-friendly guides and training were created to help social workers and service providers better support parents with disabilities. The video is a 75-minute overview that covers the historical context, policies, core concepts, and best practices in working with parents with disabilities. The English and Spanish language guides accompany the video, provide more detailed information on social work and social service practice with parents with disabilities, and provide links to resources in Arizona and across the country.

The video training and the guides were developed as part of a generous grant from the Arizona Developmental Disabilities Planning Council.
