Katie Wright (She/Her) is an aspiring performing artist from Phoenix, Arizona! Her passion for music began at the piano bench at 5 years old but she felt as though she really found her people and her sense of self in musical theatre. She is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Music in Performance Musical Theatre with a Business minor at Arizona State University, planning on graduating this spring (May 2026). Although she is always ready to join in a bit and make people laugh, she leads with musicianship and intelligence, making her versatile and grounded. She is a little lady with a big voice, leading her to play roles such as Jo in Little Women, Little Red in Into the Woods, and Thea in Spring Awakening. Katie is also particularly interested in pursuing TYA work. In each role she takes on, Katie finds joy in the story and in the room, prioritizing connection with those around her.When she's not on the stage she loves to be behind the table music directing youth and TYA shows, teaching voice lessons, and helping young artists refine their talents, find joy in storytelling, and feel a sense of belonging. Because of her involvement in youth theatre, she values access and funding for youth arts and hopes to use her business knowledge to aid arts administration in schools and community. Katie is not herself without her chihuahua Milo, coconut Red Bull, and a nap.
