CACHO

What is CACHO?

CACHO is a multilingual, trans disciplinary, intercultural digital learning approach. Using the tools of online education, CACHO is a decolonizing approach to international exchange and collaboration. Cacho or "cachito", means a break or a small piece. With this project we experiment through small ruptures in dominant practice. We invite your comments, feedback, and participation.

Our experiment has three main breaks with traditional approaches:

1. multilingual classroom, supported by technology.

2. Problem-based, research-focused international collaboration

3. Readings which privilege scholarship from the Global South

Students will be registering in their local universities to participate in CACHO in different courses. Please contact you local faculty to more specific information about each integrated course.

I live to the rhythm of my country and I cannot remain on the sidelines. I want to be here. I want to be part of it. I want to be a witness. I want to walk arm in arm with it. I want to hear it more and more, to cradle it, to carry it like a medal on my chest.
