Jo Mcghee

Hi there, my name is Johana McGhee, but I prefer to go by Jo. 

I am 20 years old and live in North Carolina.

I am a shift supervisor at Starbucks, and I am taking advantage of the SCAP program to attend ASU, I am majoring in Social Justice and Human Rights and minoring in Astronomy. 

I have a lot of hobbies, but my main ones include reading, learning languages (currently learning ASL), painting pottery and playing the trumpet.

There are 6 people in my family, including myself. My parents, my twin sister and my two little sisters.

My academic goals are currently to receive my bachelor's degree and then continue to pursue my masters so that I can become a researcher/community outreach coordinator and activist. 

Some quirky details that make me, me, are: 

I can speak 3 languages; I can read a 400-page book in about 2 hours; my most favorite book is The Hobbit; I am often found outside trying to name constellations and I can quote almost all of the first Ice Age movie from memory.
