Welcome to the Writers' Studio!
In this section, I've included two projects I've completed for English 102. If you read project 1, then project 2, I believe you will notice the progess I have made during the semester. In reflection, I do feel more confident in my wirting. Credit to this class and Professor Moody for teaching me that every person has their own writing style that can be incorporated, all while following the basic understanding of rhetorical context, genre, tone, etc. This learning has provided me with the confidence to let my personality out in my writing, which has allowed me to enjoy wiriting more!
Project 1:
While you see my revised copy here, my first draft was really lacking a solid conclusion. After considering feedback from Professor Moody and two peers, I revised the conclusion with more thought, and I am very proud of the way it turned it. If you have any thoughts on how I can continue to grow in my writing, please reach out!
Project 2:
The second project in English 102 was to provide a best solution with 2 alternative solutions to an audience that could address the issue. In addition to alternative solutions, we needed to predict possible counter- arguments and provide rebuttals. While I did find this project more difficult than the first, I feel confiendent and proud of my writing. After reading back through project 1, I see the areas where I've been able to transfer knowledge into project 2.
