I am a 6th year Economics PhD Candidate at Arizona State University. I am on the Econ Job Market this year, 2025-2026.
My research interests are in Macroeconomics, with a focus on Housing and Spatial Mobility. In my job-market paper, I develop and use a dynamic, spatial-equilibrium model to understand the heterogeneous effects of housing policies in the US, and evaluate their quantitative consequences for the macroeconomy. Critically, spatial mobility is a key driver of the dynamic effects of housing policies. I find that relaxing housing restrictions in California increases aggregate output by 2.7% and leads to large welfare gains for currently young and future newborn individuals.
