Grace’s Locket is a love letter wrapped in soft static. The band’s music lives in the space between dream and memory, drawing influence from shoegaze, dreampop, gothic balladry, and the haunting romanticism of 1950s pop. Grace’s Locket embraces the fatalism of young love, no matter how beautiful, it is always fleeting.
Formed by songwriter, vocalist, and instrumentalist Grace Juliet, the project is the culmination of years spent collecting memories, melodies, and poetry written on wet grass before the bell rings. feelings grew too large to keep inside, and it evolved into a shimmering soundscape for hearts that love a little too much and lose just as deeply.
Blush Their debut full-length album, is a sonic diary of a crush and is currently in the process of being recorded. It traces the curve that starts from just two eyes meeting. Each track is a chapter in that delicate story: the first glance, first blush, first touch, first kiss, and the dizzy fall into devotion that follows. While themes of adoration radiate throughout, beneath the sweetness lies the hum of uncertainty and the quiet grief of something beautiful slipping away.
The project began in early April of 2025 and continues to evolve, shaped by real-time experiences and the emotional arc of a crush. The first single and opening prelude were recorded in a beloved bedroom, capturing the warmth and intimacy of the project’s origins. As recording continues, Blush is growing into a cinematic and emotionally rich collection that reflects the fleeting beauty of young love, and emotional memory. It is expected to be completed and released in 2026.
Grace’s Locket’s live shows unfold like a fragile dream softly waking. The core band, a tight crew of friends, brings a bedroom performance feel and dreamy precision that lifts its audience. Hannah Cusik plays bass, piccolo, and flute which debuts on blush's prelude. Accompanied by Grace Juliets shimmering riffs, Ian Patrick plays lead with delicate distortive tones. Aaron Bluth keeps them altogether with feel on drums.
What sets Grace’s Locket apart is their ability to hold beauty and heartbreak in the same breath. The band does not shy away from sentimentality. Instead, they move toward it with intention. More than a band, Grace’s Locket is a keepsake. A reminder to savor love while it lasts, and to carry its memory gently when it fades. Like a locket worn close to the heart.
