HELLO, HELLO, HELLO!!! Welcome to my website! This portfolio showcases my writing skills, critical thinking, and growth in ENG 101 course. It enables me to reflect, share, and demonstrate my strengths, my areas of growth, as well as my voice development over time, essentially benefitting future students and instructors. My short-term goal is to present my best work from the course, showcasing my knowledge of core writing techniques including thesis development and organization. My long-term goal is to use the portfolio to further my academic and professional goals by demonstrating my critical thinking, communication, and adaptability abilities. I am creating this Digital Portfolio for many different audiences like academic evaluators, instructors, and students. Instructors expect a clear, organized writing showcasing analysis and communication skills. Also, peers who are exploring papers on reflection with personal growth in a professional setting. The portfolio should be well-organized, easy to navigate, and include a professional biography. I can use my portfolio in various situations including, job interviews, professional development, applications for scholarships, etc. My portfolio, especially interviews, will allow me to demonstrate my mental capabilities as well as my personal growth which is crucial to set myself apart in the medical field. My portfolio is organized in chronological order, the order that it was completed starting with WP1 and ending with the last writing project. I employed themes and a navigation system to organize the website that allows the audience to better transverse across the information provided. The four pieces of work, although different, are connected by my writing style and the techniques I used to develop them. These include an analytical essay, a Personal Narrative, a Research Essay, a Reflection, and a Self-Evaluation. Each piece should demonstrate your ability to engage with the development of a thesis, and personal identity, analyze texts, and connect your coursework with personal development. In the process of creating these 4 pieces of work my abilities to adapt and adjust my voice and many other writing elements have improved.
