Instructional Designer & Web Developer
Hi, I'm Dee Mullins. đź‘‹
In 2017, a CEO took a chance on my skills and moved me into a curriculum developer role. I was working with a custom-built LMS, creating courses using Markdown, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. That same year I completed an 8-week program with Girls in Tech using WordPress and PHP and built my first portfolio.
At the beginning of 2018, I was selected to participate in a 12-week Front-End Web Development Google Scholarship challenge partnered with Udacity. I completed in the top 10% out of the 15,000 participants accepted which granted me access to a 6 month Nanodegree in Web Development from Google.
In 2019 I started at Arizona State University working with faculty to create online courses. Based on my background, I handle a lot of the tech aspects which include 3rd party tools, LTI integrations, and creating cool things students can interact with while building on their knowledge and skills. In 2020 I started my M.Ed in Learning Design and Technology program at ASU. I graduated in May 2022.
Other than that I love my espresso in the morning, traveling, and attending music festivals. To me, it’s all about seeing the world and making memories while doing what keeps a smile on my face. I also want to get stuff done, work hard, and continue building my skills.
Thanks for visiting!
