As an English teacher and student, I write teaching tools and curricula that integrate technology and actionable, 21st-century skills centered around the acts of reading and writing. I also compose essays that analyze literature through the lenses of literacy and language.
In my spare time, you can find me climbing mountains or sipping coffee while reading my latest romance or fantasy novel!
In 2014, I received two BA degrees, one in Secondary English Education from Carolina University, and one in English Literature from High Point University.
Afterward, I worked as an English educator in international schools in China, where I wrote curricula and taught PD sessions on implementing data into lesson plans. I've also done work in training centers, teaching in person and online.
Currently, I'm living as an expatriate in China and working as a nonfiction writer and editor. I help create wide-reaching works focused on health, food, lifestyle, humor, and education for apps, magazines, and small publishers.
In 2022, I earned a MA in English from Arizona State University.
