Introduction to Project Based Learning:

To make learning experiences more real-world this pedagogy is employed. Students are encouraged to learn desired content from several subject areas simultaneously while solving a larger issue/problem that is connected to them, personally, in some way. 

The key to successful PBL experiences is negotiating with students so that they get the content that you need them to have while they get to make decisions/choices on how they deliver that learning. It is your content connected to their interests and passions.
