Mrs. Nielsen has worked as a school counselor for 11 years. She loves being a part of the ASU Prep family. Mrs. Nielsen lives in Gilbert with her husband and 3 kids. She enjoys traveling, going to the movies & paddle boarding.

Role of our School Counseling Team
ASU Preparatory Academy school counselors and social workers are an important part of our school-based leadership teams. They play an integral role in creating a school culture of success for all students. They work to promote equity and inclusion within the school and support students’ social and emotional well-being. Our school counseling teams work directly with students by offering guidance curriculum lessons in the classroom and small group and individual counseling.
