Hi! My name is Loralee. I'm the first to laugh at corny jokes, I always manage to spill some kind of food or beverage on myself, I read too many books at once, and I can't stop going to school.
I have always had a passion for learning. After graduating high school, I studied English education in college and went on to become a secondary English teacher at a small rural high school in Wisconsin. During my second year of teaching, I decided to return to school to pursue a master's in English. Now approaching the finish line of my graduate studies, I am elated to have reached this point in my academic career, and I am immensely grateful for all the skills and knowledge I have acquired in the past two years as a graduate student.
With a master's in English, I hope to take on new academic and professional opportunities in the future. Ultimately, I look forward to continuing my expedition of lifelong learning--bettering myself as an educator, English scholar, and human being.
