The Events Committee is responsible for coordinating AAGS sponsored events. This includes working with SHESC Directorate to secure funds for the Welcome Back Happy Hours in August and January, the annual Halloween Party, and the Spring Symposium Picnic. Additionally, the events committee plans and organizes the logistics of these events as well as other events over the course of the academic year to increase the sense of graduate student cohesion and community.

The fundraising committee organizes all fundraising activities (except for maintenance of the Snack Stash, which falls to the co-treasurers). This primarily means the bi-annual book sale. However, the committee is free to host other events, expand current events (such as the addition of plants to the book sale, initiated by the 2017-2018 fundraising committee), and other fundraising opportunities (such as shirts, cups, calendars, etc.)

The Graduate Student Aid committee provides general support to the SHESC graduate student body through things like workshops and speakers. These can be academic/professional in nature or focus topics of graduate student emotional and mental well-being. The Graduate Student Aid Committee also manages the graduation regalia collection and the Graduate Reader Program.
