Oral presentation instructions
Each contributed oral presentation will be scheduled for 12 minutes with an additional 3 minutes for questions following each presentation.
Each overview talk will be scheduled for 25 minutes with an additional 5 minutes for questions.
There will be additional discussion time at the end of each session that oral presenters are asked to participate in.
We will use Zoom for virtual presentations and attendance.
Presenters are required to submit slides to this Google drive by 5pm the day before your presentation. Accepted formats: pdf, pptx, google slides. The recommended naming convention is YearMonthDatePresentationTime_PresentersLastName_PresentationTitle
If you do not have access to the Google Drive, please contact nmahesh@caltech.edu to coordinate the delivery of your presentation.
Poster Presentation instructions
Printed Poster size should not be greater than 4’ by 4’.
Each poster presenter will have a lightning talk scheduled for 3 minutes. We recommend using one or two slides.
Kindly upload your talk to this Google Drive by 5 pm the day before your presentation. The recommended naming convention is YearMonthDatePresentationTime_PresentersLastName_PresentationTitle.
We do not have an option to print posters on campus. But there are a few printing services in Pasadena. Please check their websites for weekend printing times.
The poster boards will be set up by Monday 8am. We request you to hang your poster as soon as you arrive at the workshop.
Poster must be removed at the end of the workshop on Thursday evening.
Lactation Room
During the conference, a lactation room will be available in the Cahill building where the conference will be held. The room will be on the second floor (room 212) of the building, with the conference being held on the first floor. Public Transportation from LAX
Attendees can utilize the LAX FlyAway bus service in conjunction with the Metro A Line light-rail system to reach Pasadena with relative ease. Tickets can be purchased in advance for the FlyAway bus, which connects you to Union Station for $12.75 USD per fare. These buses can be tracked in real time here. From Union Station, board the Metro A Line, located on Tracks 1 and 2, traveling in the direction of Azusa. The fare costs $1.75 USD. The closest stops to our conference's hotels are Del Mar and Memorial Park Stations.
Accommodations
Saga Motor Hotel Pasadena: 1.3 miles from the conference building (Cahill). Rates range from $105/night + TAX to $145/night + TAX—discount cut-off date: August 1, 2025.
