Eleven Labs' advanced technology offers various opportunities for equitable teaching in the K-12 Educational Setting. Equity in education is essential when ensuring all students are given the same educational opportunities when provided the proper support such as translations. Being able to provide multilingual lessons in the classroom to aid in the understanding of content for English Language Learners (ELL) not only meets the needs of an equitable learning environment, but it also aids in student learning to progress their proficiency in content and English language acquisition. Due to this essential need in education, a primary or secondary teacher can use Eleven Labs to ensure all his/her students are given the same education regardless of language barriers. Eleven Labs offers text-to-speech translation for 30 languages.

Integrating Multilingual AI in a K-12 Classroom:
Teacher will have lesson plan created with resources and worksheets uploaded and/or printed in English.
Teacher will create his/her PowerPoint to provide detailed direct instruction and to provide insight on resources and worksheets.
After direct instruction, the PowerPoint will be uploaded online for ELL students to access according to their native language. It is important to note, only the PowerPoint will be translated, not the resources and worksheets.
Teacher will need to access Eleven Labs to provide translation.
Teacher will select language(s) for students from the Voice Library
a. Or use a default voice, their cloned voice, or a custom
voice.
Add desired language(s) text from the PowerPoint to generate the audio.
Once audio is generated, the teacher will need to download the language(s) mp3 audio file.
Teacher will download PowerPoint in English and upload to desired video editing tool along with the desired language(s) mp3 files. This is to merge the PowerPoint and audio into one mp4 video.
The teacher will download the mp4 video and upload it into their digital classroom for ELLs to listen to in their native language while following along in English to aid in their language acquisition.
