When is the effective date of the new payout schedule?
The new payout schedule will take effect starting January 1, 2021
Will I receive any salary for the Dec 31, 2020 payout?
Yes, this payout is scheduled on December 29. In line with the current real time payout schedule, you will receive your salary covering the period of December 16 to December 31 along with the adjustments and overtime from December 1-15.
Why are we changing the payroll cut off schedule?
This is to align the payout of the basic salary with the adjustments and overtime of the same payroll period. This change in schedule should also reduce the volume of disputes brought about by unclear understanding of the real time payout schedule
Will I receive my salary on Jan 15, 2021?
You will only receive the following:
Your overtime from December 16, 2020 to December 31, 2020
Your service incentive leave conversion (for those who are eligible & have remaining leave credits)
Any other adjustments from the previous cut off (LWOP adjustments)
When will I receive my salary for days rendered from January 1 - January 15, 2021
You will receive the salary for this cut off on January 22, 2021 as the 25th falls on a Monday.
How will this impact my back pay?
This will not have any effect on the computation of your backpay
What is the new period covered by the pay out every 10th of the month?
The payout every 10th of the month will now cover the days between the 16th and the 30th / 31st of the previous month.
What is the new period covered by the pay out every 25th of the month?
The payout every 25th of the month will now cover the days between the 1st to 15th of the current month.
What will happen to my deductions for the period of December 16, 2020 to December 31st, 2020
LWOP from the period of December 16, 2020 to December 31st, 2020 will be deducted from the payout on Jan 15, 2021
When is the new cut off for filing attendance?
We recommend the daily filing of attendance as the deadline will be on the last day of the current payroll period. (ex. The current payroll period is 1-15, the deadline for the complete attendance would be the on the 15th)
When is the new cut off for approving attendance?
Approval for all previously filed attendance should strictly be 1 day after the current payroll period. (ex. The current payroll period is 1-15, the deadline for the approval of attendance would be the on the 16th)
Will you give a cash advance on the 15th if we do not have OT and LWOP from December 16-31, 2020?
We will be releasing the conversion of your remaining service incentive leaves
When will you seed the deferred holiday pay?
The deferred holiday pay will be released along with the December 30, 2020 payout
Does this change in cut off violate any DOLE regulations?
This does not violate any regulations based on Labor Advisory No.01 series of 2014, wages of employees should be paid no later than 10 days after the payroll period covered. Rest assured that you will still receive your salary covering January 1-15, 2021 on January 22 as the 25th falls on a Monday
If I am a newly hired employee, when do I receive my first salary?
If you onboard between the 1st to the 15th, your first pay will be on the 25th of the current month. If you onboard between the 16th to the end of the month, your first payout will be on the 10th of the following month
Are the employees who will be transitioned to ABSI next year going to be affected by this change?
All employees of Asticom and ABSI are covered by the change in payout schedule
What deductions will be implemented for the payout dates?
For the statutory deductions ( SSS ,Pag-ibig, and Philhealth) -- it will be deducted every 10th of the month payout.
For loan deductions ( example: Pag-ibig Multipurpose, SSS Salary Loan)-- it will be deducted every 25th of the month payout.
For other loans facilitated by Asticom (example: Work from Home Essentials ,HMO Dependent's Premium, Ayala Coop Contribution / Loan) -- it will be deducted every payout.
