Who we are

Hi, I'm Debra, founder of Aster Bookkeeping.

With more than 30 years of experience across bookkeeping, manufacturing finance, government finance, manufacturing purchasing operations, and healthcare business, I have built my career around helping organizations bring clarity to their numbers and confidence to their decision-making. My experience ranges from hands-on bookkeeping for a family business to financial analysis and reporting roles within multi-billion-dollar Fortune 500 organizations. Backed by a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, I have partnered with teams to analyze financial data, support operations, improve processes, and create reliable systems that drive efficiency and results. My experience includes supporting businesses using a variety of accounting and financial systems, and I hold Intuit ProAdvisor certification in QuickBooks Online 

After retiring from a successful corporate career, I turned my passion for accounting and financial organization into a business dedicated to helping entrepreneurs and businesses succeed. I enjoy solving problems, improving processes, and helping business owners understand their finances so they can focus on growing their businesses.

Behind the scenes, my husband Chuck, who recently retired after a successful career in manufacturing and business leadership, provides support and encouragement as I continue building Aster Bookkeeping.

My goal is simple: to be a trusted partner who helps bring order, insight, and peace of mind to your finances.
