As we continuously strive to become the Southeast Asian University of Technology, an internationally renowned smart university, we at BISCAST demonstrate our dedication to offering our valued key stakeholders—the ASTean students—high-quality programs by assessing whether applicable and accepted standards are met. The Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP) and its Accreditors invested their continual, tireless work and support in looking at and evaluating our programs at BISCAST, and we personally owe them for their assistance in this significant undertaking. While we conduct this Remote Accreditation Survey Visit from the 9th to the 13th days of October 2023, the College is planning to work on the preliminary survey visits for the Bachelor of Science in Food Technology, the Bachelor of Technical Vocational Teacher Education majors in Food Service Management as well as Garments Fashion and Design, and the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education. On top of that, we will put forth the effort necessary to get Level I accreditation for some of our courses, including the Bachelor of Engineering Technology with majors in Construction Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, and Mechanical Engineering Technology Specialized in Automotive Engineering Technology, the Bachelor in Drafting Technology, the Bachelor of Science in Entrepreneurship with majors in Manufacturing and Service Technology, Food Management, and Garment Technology, and the Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. Kudos to all the prime movers in this meaningful accreditation process, including our BISCAST academic members and non-teaching staff who work so hard and with dedication! May this week-long stint in improving our quality management system be fruitful!
