- Volunteered for "three years" on February 22, 1938 to the Military Stewardship of Angoulême under the 502nd Combat Tank Regiment.
- Arrived at the body on February 23, 1938.
- Appointed Corporal on April 7, 1939.
- Assigned to Light Tank Battalion No. 32 on September 2, 1939.
- Appointed Master Corporal on December 1, 1939.
- Participated in the Belgian operations on 13 May 1940
- Killed to the enemy on 17 May 1940,
