- Born on 9 December 1912 in MÉON (Maine and Loire)

- son of Eugene, Louis, Auguste and Josephine, Valentine RABOUAN.

- Married to Germaine?? ?, father of a daughter Ginette.

- Profession: farmer.

- Called to activity on April 17, 1934, assigned to the 4th Infantry Regiment.

- Passed in availability on April 15, 1939.

- Kept temporarily under the flag pursuant to article 40 of the Act of 31 March      1928.

- Sent back to his homes on 6 July 1939.

- Certificate of good conduct: "granted."

- Recalled to the activity on September 5, 1939, assigned to C.M. I. 91.

- Party to the armed forces on 12 September 1939 with the 125th Infantry Regiment.

 

- Killed to the enemy on 17 May 1940 at the place called 

"Crossroads of the Star,"

"Excellent soldier who from Saarland to the Battle of the Meuse has always been willing to serve in the most dangerous circumstances. May 17, 1940 was killed in an assault by his group during the fighting in the forest of Saint-Michel (Aisne).
