When the sound of guns has been on for a long time, when the wounds have slowly closed, not without leaving deep scars in the families, then comes the time of Memory and Recognition.
On April 17, 1999, under the chairmanship of the Honorary Commander of the Air Force, Roger VASSEUR, bombing pilot, F. A. F. L. (1939-1945), Indochina, Algeria, Commander of the Legion of Honour, the constituent assembly created "the Association Saint-Michelloise Remembrance of May 1940" governed by the law of 1901
