What is E-portfolio?
E-portfolio is an online binder where you can store your skill-using activities (Practice tests) and assessments (Tests).
Teachers will make an E-portfolio for their students and share it with their students.

Use your phone to take a picture of your assessment paper.
Download google Drive
Google Drive is an online storage. It helps you store your assessments and access them from anywhere.
To use it on your phone, download the Google Drive app:
Android: From the Google Play Store
iPhone: From the the App Store
Phone to Drive: Upload Photo
Open the Google Drive app.
Tap the + (plus) button.
Tap 'Upload.'
Choose 'Photos and Videos.'
Select the photo you took.
Tap 'Upload.'
Your photo is now in Google Drive.
⭐Star on phone!
You can 'star' a file in Google Drive on your phone to make it easy to find later.
Starring a file saves it in the 'Starred' folder, so you can find it quickly in Google Drive.

Google Sites = E-portfolio
Your teacher will make a Google Site for you.
This site will be like your online binder or E-portfolio, where you can show your work.
! Remember this image so you can find it in your drive later.
Google Drive
To find your e-portfolio, follow these steps:
Sign in to your school email.
Click on the Google apps icon at the top right of the screen.
Select the "Drive" icon from the menu.
4. When Drive opens, look on the left side of the screen and click on "Shared with me."
5. You will find your e-portfolio in that folder. Look to find the sites or the e-portfolio image to find it.
Your e-portfolio is saved in your Google Drive. It will be named like this:
Your last name
Your first name
Your CLB level
For example, if your name is John Smith and your CLB level is 5, the file name will be " SMITH, John 5 "
⭐Star -> Easy to Find Later
You can "star" your e-portfolio to mark it as important. This makes it easy to find quickly later.
When you star something, it goes into a special folder called 'Starred' in your Google Drive. Next time, you can quickly find it by going to that folder.
Here's how it works:
There might be many files in your Google Drive.
When you star your e-portfolio, it will move to a special folder called "Starred."
To star your e-portfolio, just click on the star icon next to it.
Anytime you want to find it, click on the "Starred" folder, and your e-portfolio will be there.
Now you can double-click on your e-portfolio to open it.
📂 Parts of My E-Portfolio.
Home - 1st page
Home is the first page you see when you open your e-portfolio.
Please never click the "publish" button while working on your e-portfolio.
Everything will save automatically.
Follow the instructions given here.
Scroll down
When you scroll down, you'll see a section for your name. If your name isn’t there, you can type it in.
Language Companion
When you click on "Language Companion" it will take you to a new page.
There, you'll see a PDF of information that's also in your physical binder. You can open the PDF in a new tab and read it whenever you want.
CLB level
! Do Not Click !
Just hover your mouse over your CLB level.
You will see different options:

These are the pages where you can upload your assessments.
About Me
Your teacher can fill out this page for you.
Listening
Look at the picture at the top for "listening".
You can upload your listening assessments here.
Speaking
Look at the picture at the top for "speaking".
You can upload your speaking assessments here.
Reading
Look at the picture at the top for "reading".
You can upload your reading assessments here.
Writing
Look at the picture at the top for "writing".
You can upload your writing assessments here.
Inventory sheet
On this page, you'll see a table. You can click the top left to open it in a new tab.
This table is just for your information. Your teacher will fill it in with details about each assessment and the date it was taken.
🖥️ How to Upload Assessments to E-portfolio.
1)
First, open the page for the skill that matches the assessment you took.
For example, if it was a listening test, open the listening page.

Scroll down. There are 4 sections. Find the one that matches your assessment.
This information is on your assessment, or your teacher can tell you.
For example:
L1 - Interacting With others.

You'll see some boxes with a plus sign (+) inside.
This is where you can upload your assessments.
Just click on the plus sign (+).

You'll see a list of options.
Click on 'From Drive' if your assessment is in your Google Drive.
Or, click on 'Upload' if your assessment is saved on your computer.

When you click 'From Drive,' a preview of your Google Drive will open on the right side of the page. All the folders are at the top.
Follow your teacher's instructions and find your assessment !!
6)
After you find your assessment,
Click on your assessment,
then click the insert button.
7)
A window will pop up.
Click the 2nd circle, then click 'Share'.
8)
You are done!
Your assessment will appear in the box.
You don't need to click anything else. Your teacher can now see it.
You can close this tab.
