I am looking forward to working with you in and outside of the class.
In Chinese I class, you will be able to
Read words, phrases and/or short dialogues using the Mandarin sound system (pinyin).
Write simplified Chinese characters.
Remember the strokes of some basic Chinese characters, like numbers, personal pronouns, animals, colors, family members and/or some occupations.
Use Mandarin to conduct simple conversations, topics covering “Everyday Chinese, numbers, greetings, names, classmates, colors, school supplies and stationary, family & professions, animals.”
Demonstrate Basic Tai Ji Movements, Basic Brush Calligraphy and Painting Skills.
