A two-day Seminar Workshop held at the ASSCAT RDE Center in ASSCAT on September 13-14, 2023, boosted the rubber industry in Agusan Del Sur and North Cotabato. Organized by ASSCAT's RIDE department, it aimed to enhance sustainable rubber farming knowledge and skills.

Participants included PGAS personnel, Municipal Agriculture Offices, faculty and staff from the University of Southern Mindanao, as well as ASSCAT's own faculty, staff, students, and experts from Griffith University in Australia.

Discussions covered Agusan Del Sur's Rubber Value Chain, challenges, solutions, Cebolin's Rubber-based Cropping System in Trento, and the importance of soil health in rubber cultivation.

The workshop aimed to improve rubber farming practices, focusing on sustainability, soil health management, and nutrient analysis. Experts highlighted soil analysis for optimal crop growth and long-term sustainability.
