Advances in Soil Fertility Management 

Visiting professor from Griffith University, Australia Professor Chengrong Chen together with Dr. Johnvie Goloran, a Land Scientist at the same time a Research Fellow of Australian Rivers Institute conducted a 3-in-1 activity to Agusan del Sur State College of Agriculture and Technology on March 17, 2023. Prof. Chen started the event as he delivered a lecture on Advances in Soil Fertility Management to the College of Agriculture and College of Arts and Sciences students. In addition, a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between ASSCAT and Griffith University for Ph.D. program scholarship was crafted. Lastly, a meeting on Australian Center for International Agricultural Research (ACIAR) project for Soil and Management Program was conducted with the University of Southern Mindanao (USM), Caraga State University (CSU), Provincial Government of Agusan del Sur (PGAS) and ASSCAT. This Activity was a collaboration between International Relations and External Linkages Affairs Office headed by Dr. Vivian C. Peligro and Research, Innovation Development and Extension Affairs headed by Dr. Fernando L. Marzo, Jr, Vice President. This was also attended by the faculty from College of Agriculture and College of Arts and Sciences with their College Dean. Dr. Rodrigo L. Bongolan and Dr. Rachel M. Patangan respectively.
