Scholarships

While the best scholarships will generally come from a college itself, outside scholarships can help with closing the financial aid gap, purchasing books, or providing additional support for your college education.

Every school treats scholarships differently. Some may reduce institutional and grant aid and some may split the scholarship with you. Very rarely will the money be refunded or given to you directly.

You will want to work with your advisor to report outside scholarships.
