We encourage you to:

- read in French as much as possible. Magazines, such as Le Monde des Ados, 1 jour 1 actu, Phosphore are relevant to high school students. Students who already have an ASP email address can access magazines through Press Reader, our e-magazine and e-newspaper portal.

- watch movies and series in French (many are available on streaming platforms) 

- practice their listening skills by listening to resources such as RFI apprendre le Français.

We also suggest students to read the following book:

Advanced French 2 students are required to read a short novel (or long short story) in French over the summer. They may select from the list of texts below or read another French book of their choice. 

We will start the year briefly discussing and writing about these readings.
