Margaret is a dually board certified speech language pathologist and listening and spoken language specialist specializing in working with children with hearing loss. Margaret has over 20 years experience serving families in Maryland, on cochlear implant teams, in the schools, and in private practice. Margaret is currently the director of A Sound Beginning, LLC. She is appointed by the Governor to serve on the Board for Early Hearing Detection and Intervention. Margaret is currently the president of the Maryland chapter of the Alexander Graham Bell association for the deaf. At home, Margaret enjoys spending time with her husband and three children.
Rena Levi, a dually board certified speech language pathologist and listening and spoken language specialist, joined A Sound Beginning, LLC in 2018. Rena had worked in the Baltimore County Public Schools for more than 10 years, and The Auditory/Oral School of NY prior to that. Now, with more than 20 years of experience, Rena shares her expertise in listening and spoken langauge development with the families at A Sound Beginning, LLC.
