What is an Acceptable Use Policy?

An Acceptable Use Policy (AUP), is a set of rules and guidelines on how to use technology devices and online tools in the workplace. We begin this process of teaching acceptable use and digital citizenship as early as K3. As we provide devices to students as young as K1, we begin this type of learning by focusing on how to take care of our school tools. AUPs are published in all student handbooks and are a requirement for staff as well.
