Here are three steps for making vegan bean burgers:
Ingredients:
2 cans of kidney beans
125 grams of vegan breadcrumbs
115 mL chopped coriander
1 tablespoon chili powder

1. Preheat oven to 160˚C. Rinse and strain beans, then put them in a large mixing bowl. Mash the beans until there aren’t many solid ones left. Add breadcrumbs, coriander and chili powder, and mix well.
2. Wet your hands and shape the mixture into burger patties. This should make six burgers, depending on preferred size. Put the patties on a non-stick tray, and place the tray in the oven. Cook burgers for 8 minutes, flip them over and then cook for another 8 minutes.
3. Take burgers out of the oven. Put in a burger bun and top with sliced avocado, if desired. Enjoy!
