1️⃣  Summer/Fall AO (for April 2025 or Sep 2025 Entry):  

      August 1 - September 1, 2025

      Period for submitting documents by post: Sep 1 - Sep 2

2️⃣  Winter AO (GIGA Global) (for Sep 2023 or April 2024 Entry) 

  December 10 - January 24, 2025 (closed)

  Two evaluations are submitted online for GIGA.

3️⃣ Spring AO (for Sep 2025 or April 2026 Entry) - TBA

      May 12, 2025 ~ June 4, 2025 (closed)

     Period for submitting documents by post: 6/2 to 6/5/2025

How do the various application periods differ?

There are no differences in the screening method. Application screenings can be selected from either Japanese or English for Summer/Fall and Spring applications.  Winter AO is for applications who are willing to gain a bachelor's degree in English, therefore the application process is carried out only in English.  An Interview is conducted for Summer/Fall and Spring applications in Japanese and/or English.  No interview is required for Winter AO Screening.
