H.  Parent Teacher Meetings and Appointments

There are three ways in which parents meet teachers.

*maximum three meetings per term

i. PTM is held after each assessment, it serves as an opportunity for parents and teachers to discuss the student's performance on the assessment and to identify areas where the student may need additional support. The meeting allows parents and teachers to work together to set goals for the student and to develop a plan to help the student achieve those goals. It also provides an opportunity for parents to ask questions, voice concerns, and offer feedback. It's also a great way for parents to stay informed about their child's education and to be involved in their child's academic progress.

ii. As there are no formal assessments for Foundational Stage, parents are encouraged to meet teachers by seeking appointments to discuss the progress of their child. The system of doing away with formal PTM every two months is to facilitate easy access to teachers by seeking an appointment when required. We have limited the number of meetings to three per term, so that all parents are able to meet the teachers. There is one scheduled term-end PTM available in the calendar..

iii. When PTM is conducted by appointment, it means that parents and teachers will schedule a specific time to meet. This allows for more flexibility and allows parents to schedule the meeting at a time that is convenient for them. It also allows the teacher to be better prepared for the meeting, as they will know in advance who they will be meeting with and when. Appointment-based PTM also allows for more efficient use of time, as the teacher will not be spending time waiting for parents to arrive or having to reschedule meetings. It also gives parents more time to plan and prepare for the meeting and to gather any relevant information they may want to discuss with the teacher.

The nature and type of homework changes throughout a pupils school career. The amount and frequency of homework increases as a pupil moves on to higher grades. 3. What are the different kinds of home assignments.?
