1. The first place you can go to add or upload files and folders is with the new button. You can also do it by right clicking on the space between files in your Drive.
2. The search bar is a handy dandy tool that allows you to search your drive for files or folders. With the search feature, it allows you to search, not only your drive, but files that were shared with you as well.
3. In the folder section, you are able to see your folders and files. By click on the icon by #4, you are able to switch between tile view and list view.

Do you sometimes get lost in your Google drive? Once you have been teaching for (let's be honest...a month or more) you accumulate a lot of folders and files.
Adding emojis to the front of the folder name can make your folder visually easy to find in a hurry.
On your laptop, right click on the folder and select "rename"
Put your cursor in front of the folder title and click the keyboard icon in the bottom, right corner of your task bar.
On the keyboard press the smile face icon
Ta da- Emoji keyboard!
Select your emoji and press "enter" to set it.
