Ashtabula County CREATES Initiative

CREATES: Community Resources Equally Accessible To Every Student

Mission Statement: Building community capacity for necessary services for all Ashtabula County youth, families, and community members through empowerment, knowledge, determination, and the establishment of foundational relationships that celebrate each individual's success.

Vision Statement: The driving force for change resulting in equitable and sustainable educational opportunities for all Ashtabula County Students.

Ashtabula County CREATES Initiative is a group of stakeholders that has come together to promote the educational achievement and academic success of youth that are considered to be in a vulnerable population. The group is currently focused on youth that are displaced - whether that be they are in kinship care, are in the foster care system, or are experiencing homelessness. The group meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday.
