64 Hexagrams
The I Ching book consists of 64 hexagrams. A hexagram in this context is a figure composed of six stacked horizontal lines (爻 yáo), where each line is either Yang (an unbroken, or solid line), or Yin (broken, an open line with a gap in the center).
There is total of 64 possibility of Hexagrams
Casting the Coins 6 Times
Okay, here are instructions for practicing I Ching divination with coins:
Please bring three similar coins (dimes, quarters, or pennies). Using the same set of coins in the future is recommended for energetic reasons...
Before you begin, consider taking a moment to slow down or meditate to center yourself. Then, write down the question you wish to explore in a dedicated book, dating each page you use for a reading.
When you are ready, ensure you will not be interrupted or distracted. Hold the three coins in your hands and gently shake them. Cast them onto a flat surface. Repeat this process six consecutive times, carefully recording for each cast, the pattern of heads and tails and numbers associated with them. Each casting represents one line of your hexagram, built from the bottom up 1 to 6.
Once you have completed all six casts, consult the I Ching (Book of Change) to find the hexagram that corresponds to your recorded pattern.
Note if any of your cast lines resulted in a total of 6 or a 9. These indicate changing lines. For each changing line, you will also create a second hexagram, reversing the value of that line (a solid Yang line becomes Ying, broken, and a broken Ying line becomes Yang, solid).
In this interpretation, the initial hexagram reflects from the past to the present situation, while the second hexagram, if created through changing lines, can offer insights into potential future developments or the consequences of the intention you are considering.
Remember that the I Ching is not typically seen as a tool for rigid prediction or a Yes or No. Instead, its wisdom often reveals possibilities, perspectives, or the potential outcomes associated with the actions you are contemplating.

Significance for Chinese culture: In addition to I Ching's broadly recognized influence on Confucianism and Taoism, it has been shown to have influenced Chinese Buddhism.
Spiritual Meaning of Hexagram search: A hexagram, the six-sided geometric figure consisting of two interlocked triangles, carries various spiritual meanings depending on the cultural context. Generally, it symbolizes balance, harmony, and the union of opposing forces, like the male and female, or the divine and material. In some traditions, it represents creation, the balance between heaven and earth, and the journey from matter to spirit.
