Welcome to the Introduction of the Pyramid Model. This is an on-demand self-paced training that should be completed before attending other Pyramid Model Modules.
Throughout this training, participants will explore social emotional learning; what we know about young children; supporting each and every child; applying the pyramid model philosophy and research on the Pyramid Model.
BEFORE YOU BEGIN: Print these resources and have additional paper on hand for notes and reflections.
DURING: Stay focused on the content and follow instructions on activity slides.
AFTER: Answer the follow up questions and ensure your email address is entered correctly. Your certificate will be sent to the email provided.

Challenging Behavior Workshop (Registration Closed for this Year!)
This training series will walk teachers through the entire FBA process for Addressing Challenging Behavior. Participants will choose a focus child to use throughout the series. At the end of the series, the child should have a completed behavior plan. This series is geared toward individuals who would be a part of FBA process. Instructional assistants are welcome to join WITH their teacher or team. Please reach out if you have a question about relevance. Registration will be for the SERIES. Participants must commit to attend all sessions.

Communication Round Up
with Kim Howard
Do you support students with autism or complex needs who have difficulty communicating? Spend the day exploring practical ways to support communication through augmentative and alternative communication (AAC).
This will be a hands-on, play-based training where you’ll do more than just hear about assistive technology—you’ll use it. We’ll dig into the Ashland RTC technology closet, pull out a variety of communication supports and AT devices, and put them to work through meaningful, interactive activities.
You’ll have opportunities to explore different communication options, consider how they can be used during everyday routines and play, and build your confidence in choosing supports that meet individual student needs.
Come ready to play, explore, try things out, and learn by doing. You’ll leave with practical resources, ideas, and tools to help you get started supporting communication in your classroom.

This session provides an overview of the DIAL-4 as well as information about how to administer and score the assessment. Although not required, it is best to have a DIAL-4 Kit on hand to reference as you complete the session.
