A few things to remember: You're in 7th grade now. Things have changed from 6th grade, obviously.  You need to fully understand that each person in this building is here to see you learn and succeed in school.  

One of the most powerful things that you have is the power of choice.  Every person has the ability to choose what they will and will not do.  You are in control of how you do in school.  What is it that you want from school?  Do you know?  The thing to remember is that handing in all your assignments, studying for tests and quizzes, and handing in assignments on time, all lead to better grades.  What will you choose to do this year?   

I want you to think about what you want this year. If you put your mind to it, and get the help and support you need, there is a very good chance you will achieve what you want.
