What to expect..
ELA in the seventh grade is truly a unique year. Throughout your life, whatever educational or professional path you choose you will find it difficult to attain your goals unless you read!
We will be working on expanding and enhancing vocabulary, understanding the “hows” and “whys” of grammar and, of course, writing. As a seventh grade student you will be expected to write analytically about the books and stories we read both as a class and on your own. You’ll be working on developing your own thoughts and opinions about literature and then providing evidence to back up and support your theories and statements.
