Hello! My name is Lucie Ftorek and I am one of the school counselors at Warren Elementary School in Ashland, MA. I am excited to begin my 10th year as part of the Warren Counseling team, and my 15th year as a school counselor.
Each day when I walk in the doors at Warren School, I am welcomed into a community of students and adults who are eager to teach, help and learn from each other, and I am proud to be part of that team! My daily goal as a school counselor is to lead by example and help guide students to become confident leaders themselves.

Provide short-term individual and small group counseling services to students
Teach whole class social emotional lessons once or twice monthly
Consult with, and support teachers regarding student adjustment, behavior, social connections and emotional wellness
Work with school administration to identify and resolve student issues, needs and problems
Provide families with area resources and outreach programs
Consult and collaborate with outside agencies, therapists, pediatricians and psychiatrists to coordinate care for students in the school setting
Our Social Emotional Learning curriculum is aligned to the American School Counselor Association and the Massachusetts School Counselors Association.
